The company was created off the back of bad experiences with other Digital Marketing vendors. Tom decided that using his Internet knowledge and people skills, he could deliver a far superior service than the market was offering – and Ocere was born.
Through delivering strong results and customer satisfaction, the company grew significantly over the next few years. Soon reaching sales of near £1m purely from Digital Marketing. The company added to its head count throughout this period, and invested heavily in it’s internal systems to manage the products and deliver work to customers.
In 2013, the company became much more focused on running performance-based campaigns. Rather than taking a monthly retainer, the company grew its CPL (cost per lead) client base significantly: with particular strengths in the Renewable Energy and Home Improvement industries.
Moving through 2014, Ocere maintained strong sales growth and substantially improved it’s profitability.
The company has been profitable since day 1, takes on no external borrowing or debt, and is 100% privately owned.
